The total destruction of the early Bronze Age civilizations 5000 years ago came with utter and complete ruthlessness. Cities were destroyed and covered with sand and till.

Every town in Palestine that has been investigated shows this same destruction. Jericho and Jerusalem were completely destroyed. Violent and wide spread destruction occurred across the Middle East and the Mediterranean, from Egypt to Harapa Pakistan the number of settlements was reduced to a quarter.

There was tremendous climate change accompanied by drought and plague. The geography of the land was upended with rivers being blocked up, mountains being built and destroyed. The populations of the world were decimated.
